Looking toward the horizon is a key theme in many of my paintings. The horizon offers possibilities and a chance to dream of other things. Warm colors in the foreground of this painting pull us into thoughts of autumn walks that offer the smell of falling leaves, the quiet rustle of the grass, the gentle breeze of a peaceful day. I hope you enjoy this piece and take a few minutes to breathe, to explore, and to be taken to another place for a few minutes.
